Terms of Service for SmokeFree Journey

1. Acceptance of Terms

By downloading, installing, or using SmokeFree Journey ("the App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, do not use the App.

2. Description of Service

SmokeFree Journey is a motivational tracking application designed to help users monitor their journey to quit smoking. The App provides:

Progress tracking (days smoke-free, money saved, cigarettes avoided)
Health recovery timeline
Achievement system
Optional Pro features (widgets, advanced statistics)
Daily motivation notifications (optional)

3. Medical Disclaimer

IMPORTANT: SmokeFree Journey is a motivational tool, not medical advice. The App:

Does NOT provide medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment
Should NOT be used as a substitute for professional medical care
Does NOT guarantee you will successfully quit smoking
Provides general health information that may not apply to your specific situation

Always consult with a healthcare professional before making health decisions. If you're experiencing difficulty quitting smoking, speak with your doctor about evidence-based cessation programs.

4. User Account and Data

You are responsible for:

Maintaining the security of your device
Any activity that occurs through your device
Backing up your data (all data is stored locally on your device)

We are not responsible for any loss of data due to device loss, damage, or failure.

5. Subscriptions and Payments

5.1 SmokeFree Journey Pro Subscription

SmokeFree Journey offers optional Pro subscriptions with the following terms:

Weekly: $3.99 per week with a 7-day free trial
Monthly: $9.99 per month
Yearly: $79.99 per year
Lifetime: $99.99 one-time purchase (never expires)

5.2 Payment and Renewal

Payment is charged to your iTunes Account at confirmation of purchase
Subscriptions automatically renew unless auto-renew is turned off at least 24 hours before the end of the current period
Your account will be charged for renewal within 24 hours prior to the end of the current period
You can manage subscriptions and turn off auto-renewal in your iPhone Settings → App Store → Subscriptions

5.3 Free Trial

The Weekly plan includes a 7-day free trial
You can cancel anytime during the trial without being charged
If you don't cancel, you'll be charged after the trial ends
Free trials are available once per Apple ID

5.4 Refunds

All purchases are handled by Apple. Refund requests must be made through Apple. We cannot issue refunds directly.

To request a refund:

Go to reportaproblem.apple.com
Sign in with your Apple ID
Find your SmokeFree Journey purchase
Select "Request a Refund"

6. Acceptable Use

You agree NOT to:

Use the App for any illegal purpose
Attempt to reverse engineer, decompile, or hack the App
Violate any applicable laws or regulations
Use the App in a way that could damage or impair the service

7. Intellectual Property

All content, features, and functionality of SmokeFree Journey are owned by us and are protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.

8. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW:

The App is provided "AS IS" without warranties of any kind
We are not liable for any damages arising from your use of the App
We are not responsible for any health outcomes or decisions you make based on the App
Our total liability to you shall not exceed the amount you paid for the App in the past 12 months

9. Termination

We reserve the right to terminate or suspend your access to the App at any time, without notice, for conduct that we believe violates these Terms or is harmful to other users, us, or third parties, or for any other reason.

10. Changes to Terms

We may modify these Terms at any time. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.

11. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of your country/state of residence. Any disputes will be resolved in the courts of your jurisdiction.
